Is COVID-19 Vaccine Real or Trap ?? -- COVAXIN (India's First CoronaVirus Vaccine)

Vaccine for pandemic situations are under investigation , most of researcher assume that viable vaccine may be found at the end of this year. In this scenario India made first coronavirus vaccine in collaboration with University of WISCONSIN, ICMR and Thomaas jafferson University. That first vaccine namely- COVAXIN get approval by drug controller General of India to initiate their clinical trials. 

 

 

Bharat Biotech's after submitting the safety profile of Pre-clinical studies and their immune responses. now they got approval from Drug controller general of india CDSCO (The Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare to start their phase I and phase II human clinical trails 

The is basically inactivated vaccine has been made at Bharat Biotechs BSL-3 (Bio-Safety Level 3). This facility located in the Genome Valley, Hyderabad.

The SARSCoV2 strain was isolated in NIV, Pune & transferred to BharatBiotech. 

WHEN WILL HUMAN TRAILS INITIATED? 

Clinical trails of Covaxin vaccine planned to start in next month - july 2020 across overall country. 

WHEN WILL IT AVAILABLE IN MARKETS ? 

Based on its safety profile submitted after clinical trails , this vaccine available in markets. 

According to its safety and immunity response in Pre-clinical studies, this vaccine will show promising safety and extensive immune response - said in press by Bharat Biotech. 

Another clinical trial held by CanSino and bheijing institute of biotechnology conduct to test phase-I (safety profile of vaccine) shows good safety profile and have better efficacy to prevent novel corona virus . 

it give positive outcome by neutralizing antibodies and T-cell response . 

VACCINE DEVELOPMENT : 

In the ongoing vaccine development process everyone hear about spike protein which is either: 

• full- length protein,
• receptor binding domain
• its prefusion or post fusion form. 

This protein is basically metastatic protein which enter or fuse within the host cell through fusion of viral membrane into it, after major structural changes. So in context of vaccine development, vaccine must possesses ability to get antibodies to disrupt that particular virus- host binding.

The Donald trump administration hired five comparnies namely moderna, johnson and johnsons merck, pfizer and BioNTech to develop vaccine for this sdeadly virus.
